  • Moser’s works belong to the long tradition of the painting and demand from the viewer a discussion of the “pure” paintings, without references or burdened with any theory.

Moser draws on his experiences and emotions, as the creator of essences does, and at the same time he uses all the achievements of the abstract painting. According to the variety of the language of abstraction, his paintings provide monochrome and polychrome colourings, which have the effect of making the painting seem to be changing. It’s curious, but we could say the same of the effect of an essence. The piled colouring intensifies this process of perception. Moser’s worlds of colour, which seem to burst the borders of the image area, long for closeness and an undivided attention, because the richness of thoughts of the floating layers of paint, are rather east warded than describable.

Dieter Ronde, director of the Kunstmusem Bonn, notes, “the act of painting takes place on the canvas, which longs not for distance, but for an approach, to plunge in and enter the works. The paintings show a capitalized surface, which moves the painting as well as integrate the viewer in infinitive movements”.
