  • I love to work just after rain when the sky falls and the land is thirsty. Especially when it rains so heavily that even the mountains are wading. It is also the exact time when all the smells are the strongest. You can really smell how a rock smells like. It is a bitter and dark odour with sensual notes. A scent that reminds me of nighttime.

The evening that I made this piece was that kind of an evening, just after rain. And as the night spread it’s bat wings and took to it’s embrace, in that silent night, the stars licked the soil. That night the moon was at the level of my head. Maybe even lower.
