The aromas, as incorporeal energy, cause us to leave behind the world of human dimensions and reasons and induce in us, as in the paintings of Rothko o Friedrich, this melancholy state.

Posteriormente fue tomada por Roma, y permaneció una ciudad romana hasta que fue conquistada por Sharpur I de Persia (c. 257 dC.). DOURA fue entonces abandonada al desierto.
