I made this image of the green curtain in special circumstances: an architect had asked me to create a series of photographs in a school he had just built. He had the keys to the school and so I could go there at the weekend, when the building was quiet and empty. One day I visited the music room and immediately I was struck by this large green curtain, by its imposing size, by its colour. I had an urge to create a somewhat mysterious image: in it, a person puts their head through the curtain and only their body is seen, leaning forward, as if drawn, magnetized by what the viewer cannot see. What is behind this curtain? A monstrous creature? A fantastic landscape? A strong smell? I will not answer this question; I will let everyone invent their own scenarios, their own dreams, their own sensations.
