On this occasion, for its presentation in the Casino de la Exposición in Seville, the selection of works has been based on a very specific premise: to show the most recently acquired artworks by Spanish and above all Andalusian artists in the context of the work of famous international artists, with the aim of engaging directly with contemporary art as it is today. The different modes of interacting with art through our senses of sight, touch and smell will also be the subject of the special educational workshops. The fact that the Collection is composed of artworks embodying a wide range of techniques and languages, some thoroughly contemporary, such as installation, photography and video, and others more traditional, such as painting, drawing and sculpture, brings the spectator into direct contact with the diverse realities of contemporary art.
